Topic:

Using the country figures in the 2007 Asia Population Data file (p.2 of the "Data, Measures, Concepts" section of the Unit Booklet): (a) map (b) describe and (c) attempt to explain the geographic patterning of female life expectancy at birth levels across Asia.

 

Notes:

• Do not include the countries of Western Asia in your analysis.
  
  
• For your map(s) use the choropleth technique illustrated on p.15 of the "Population Data, Measures, Concepts" section of the Unit Booklet.      (c)    explanation (14 marks).



• Do parts (b) and (c) separately in your submitted paper under the sub-headings of "Description" and "Explanation".
